The POPGORGE Skinny:
Running at nearly three hours, the sequel to 2018's ground-breaking and culturally significant Black Panther definitely took what seemed like forever to tell its story, which is essentially also doubling as a backdoor pilot for another possible superhero franchise. Chadwick Boseman's natural charm and captivating presence is sorely missed here, but Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o all deftly pitch in to fill the void. A perfect tribute to its former lead star who had gone too soon.
