The POPGORGE Skinny:

This mega budget action comedy has all the right ingredients for a blockbuster. The chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and The Rock is undeniable, and should be further explored (a sequel is likely already in the works). Ryan's sarcastic punchlines land with perfect precision, effectively countering The Rock's steely seriousness. Gal Gadot looks pretty. The plot twists are clever and make up for the movie's excessive reliance to referencing what came before. Also, the most befuddling cameo by a pop star ever.
