The POPGORGE Skinny:

Any Madonna fan worth their ilk would instantly know the significance of this album. It contains Kamen's debut single - "Each Time You Break My Heart" - a track that was co-written and co-produced by the ascendant Queen of Pop in 1987. She originally wrote it for her own True Blue album but it didn't make the final cut. Nonetheless the song was a hit for Kamen - mostly in Europe. The album itself is an eclectic mix of mostly remakes of classic soul tracks (Sam Cooke's "Win Your Love" and "Loving You Is Sweeter Than Ever" by the Four Tops) and even a Bob Dylan song ("The Man In Me"). Overall, a delicious, enjoyable guilty pop pleasure.
